Captain Mike Coley has been a full time USCG licensed guide since 1987. He started his career on Smith Mountain Lake for stripers with New River raft trips for smallmouth bass in 1992. Huge stripers of Tennessee were added in 1997 with clients taking trophies up to 55 lbs. Mike is an avid hunter and this same year started guiding hunters in Wyoming and Montana for elk, mule deer, and antelope. Currently, he guides for musky and smallmouth on the New River, Virginia and on Melton Hill Lake, Tennessee, for musky, and big stripers . Montana is still a destination of Mike's every fall for a month.
